While most Europeans celebrated border-free travel across the continent Friday, Serbs feared the old Iron Curtain was back — with them stuck on the wrong side. From Friday, Serbian citizens need the EU visas to travel to neighboring Hungary, or even to Slovenia — which until 1991 was part of the Yugoslav federation along with Serbia and four other republics.
