Four LTTE terrorists were killed in sporadic clashes erupted in Mannar and Jaffna areas yesterday, October 28. According to the defence sources, three LTTE terrorists were killed in a confrontation took place at Murunkan in Mannar at 7.00 p.m yesterday. In a subsequent search operation conducted in the area, a T-56 assault rifle was uncovered by the troops. Meanwhile, in another confrontation erupted in Jaffna, ground troops confirmed at least one LTTE terrorist was killed in an effective retaliatory fire launched by the troops.
