A group of Irish lawmakers on Wednesday accused Britain of failing to prevent collusion between security forces and Protestant outlaws from Northern Ireland in the mid-1970s. The lawmakers, who spent several months gathering testimony, said the British government had failed to cooperate and appeared unwilling to unearth the truth behind a string of bombings in the Irish Republic that claimed more than 50 lives from 1972 to 1976.
