Montenegro’s prime minister said Monday he may soon step down, one day after his coalition swept to power in the country’s first election since it gained independence from Serbia. Milo Djukanovic, who has served as either Montenegro’s prime minister or president since 1991, said his government had positioned the country to join the European Union and NATO in the future, allowing him to leave office.
