Australia’s defense forces have built up a huge stockpile of unusable bombs, bullets and missiles, prompting the government on Wednesday to order a review of how it buys and maintains its ammunition. A report by Australia’s Auditor General found the defense forces had about A$930 million ($715 million) worth of ammunition that was currently unserviceable, with about A$300 million worth of bullets, bombs and missiles that could never be used.
