The FBI has joined Pakistani police to hunt down the planners of a suicide car bomb attack that killed four people, including an American diplomat, outside the U.S. consulate in Karachi, officials said on Friday. Suspicion for Thursday’s attack in the southern port city has fallen on an al Qaeda-linked Pakistani militant group opposed to President Pervez Musharraf’s support for the U.S.-led war on terrorism.
