Nearly four and a half years after the 9/11 terror attacks Dallas County commissioners say the county’s homeland security is still inadequate. Dallas County Commissioners gave two weeks to their new Homeland Security Chief to come up with a list of needs. The county didn’t even have a Homeland Security Director for more than six months. If Dallas County was hit by terrorists or faced multiple wildfires it would have a tough time coordinating its response. Full Story
