The trial of Saddam Hussein was postponed again today after the former president and the four other main defendants continued their boycott. The postponement is the latest setback for a trial that has been marred since its start in October by shouting matches and the resignation of its original chief judge, who declared himself fed up with criticism from politicians who thought he was allowing Mr. Hussein too much leeway.
