A roadside bomb killed an Afghan policeman and wounded 16 others on Wednesday in the southern city of Kandahar, police said. The blast hit the police vehicle in a crowded area of the city, police said. Officials said the bomb was triggered by remote control and blamed Taliban insurgents for carrying out the attack.
