The Real Madrid soccer stadium was evacuated during a match on Sunday night after a bomb threat was delivered through the Basque newspaper Gara, which is often used by the militant group ETA to warn of imminent attacks. The stadium, with a capacity of about 85,000, was nearly full. After early signs of panic in the crowd, the evacuation took place in orderly fashion, and was completed in about 10 minutes.
