Two Jewish settlers have been killed in the West Bank city of Hebron by a suicide bomber disguised as a religious Jew, Israeli media have said. The attack, which also killed the bomber, came just before a planned meeting between the Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers – the first such summit for more than two and a half years. On the eve of the meeting, the top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat announced his resignation after apparently being excluded from the talks team. The meeting – the highest level contact between the sides since the current intifada erupted in September 2000 – is expected to focus on the US-backed peace plan, known as the roadmap. Full Story
