The United States has offered to drop its demand that Yugoslavia send several war crimes suspects to the United Nations tribunal in The Hague if three of the most wanted fugitives are arrested by March 31, a State Department official said today. Pierre-Richard Prosper, the United States ambassador at large for war crimes issues, said in an interview here that Washington would also remove conditions imposed on financial aid for Yugoslavia if it extradited the three men.
