Community-owned DCH Health System in Alabama, which was hit by a ransomware attack earlier this month, has paid the attackers in order to receive a decryption key for the Ryuk ransomware that had infected its systems.

DHC announced that it was collaborating on its recovery efforts with law enforcement and cybersecurity professionals. The organization did not mention the ransom amount.
