BEIJING – The death toll from the cave-in of a subway tunnel under construction in eastern China rose to seven Monday, while new cracks near the site raised worries of further collapses, state media and local authorities said. Rescuers searched for 14 workers still trapped under the rubble after a 250-foot-wide section of road over the construction site collapsed in the eastern city of Hangzhou on Saturday, Xinhua News Agency said.
