China says kidnappings won't affect Sudan policy

China’s Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that Beijing’s close economic ties with Sudan wouldn’t be affected by last week’s kidnappings of nine Chinese oil workers in the country’s southwest. Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Chinese authorities are working to help free the captives, who were seized Saturday by unknown assailants in Kordofan province. (Full Story)
