Internet service providers in the UAE will be required to follow a new set of guidelines, which the country’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has issued. The new policy, drawn up after consulting the National Media Council and all licensed ISPs, consists of internet regulations and frameworks. The TRA said the regulations, titled “Internet Access Management”, must be taken into consideration by service providers.
