Georgia’s foreign minister said Tuesday that the effective control Russia has assumed over the breakaway province of Abkhazia is unacceptable. Abkhazia, the focus of an ongoing dispute between Russia and Georgia, closed its border with the rest of Georgia earlier on Tuesday.
