The UN Security Council has reportedly not yet agreed on a statement on Lebanon, the Saudi daily Okaz reported Tuesday. Citing Western diplomatic sources in Beirut, Okaz said the Security Council was due to discuss on Tuesday a draft statement on Lebanon that would pave the way for the a resolution of the country’s ongoing political crisis in line with Resolution 1559.
