Hundreds of Kurdish protesters battled police in southeast Turkey on Friday, leaving a young demonstrator dead and dozens injured on the ninth anniversary of guerrilla leader Abdullah Ocalan’s capture. The clashes took place in several towns across the Kurdish-dominated southeast and police detained scores of demonstrators.
