The Algerian army has killed at least six suspected Islamists during operations in the east of the country against the North African arm of the al-Qaeda terror network, Algerian media reported Saturday. The army was engaged with militants of the al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb movement in Tebessa, around 600 kilometres east of the capital Algiers, reports said. Full Story
