Kanpur Central Railway station was cordoned off after an abandoned suitcase was found with small bombs here late on Monday evening. The suitcase was lying near the reservation counter towards the city side of the railway station. Following the recovery, the Railway Protection Force and local police immediately sealed all points to help the bomb disposal squad (BDS) defuse the small bombs and conduct a massive check at all the platforms.
