Local Iraqi forces have been celebrating what they say is a significant victory against al-Qaeda in the province of Diyala, north of Baghdad. The men – aligned to local Sunni leaders and once anti-government fighters themselves – claim to have captured up to 60 members of al-Qaeda, including some of the group’s regional leaders. Full Story
