Russia’s newly nominated prime minister, Viktor Zubkov, on Thursday challenged his image as a political nobody, with the surprise hint that he may seek to replace President Vladimir Putin in upcoming elections. “If I get something done here, in this post of prime minister, then I do not exclude that,” he said in remarks broadcast by state-run television during talks with parliament deputies in Moscow.
