Basque guerrillas ETA vowed on Sunday to continue attacks on the Spanish state, saying last year’s exploratory peace talks showed there was no point in negotiating with the government. In its first communique since the end of a 14-month ceasefire in June, ETA said a peace process launched by Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero offered no political solutions and sought only the surrender of the armed group.
