Polls suggest Japanese prime minister will lose upper house

Public anger over government bungling of pension records and a series of gaffes and corruption scandals involving cabinet ministers have sent Abe’s approval rating tumbling to 27 percent in a poll published in the Nikkei financial daily on Sunday.
