Russia’s most vocal opposition alliance said Thursday it would seek to field hundreds of candidates in December parliamentary elections, setting ambitious goals in the face of government pressure. The Other Russia coalition will nominate 450 candidates and demand that authorities allow their participation even though none of the organizations in the alliance is registered as a political party, said Eduard Limonov, one of the group’s top leaders.
