Three paramilitary soldiers were killed when a roadside bomb exploded near their vehicle on Saturday in Pakistan’s north-west tribal region bordering Afghanistan. “Several soldiers of Frontier Constabulary were also injured in the explosion, which was caused by a remote control detonator near Mir Ali area of the North Waziristan,” Pakistan military’s spokesman Major General Waheed Arshad told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa. The attack came days after 34 people, including a dozen Islamic militants, died in the region in an explosion allegedly caused by three missiles fired from Afghanistan on Tuesday. Full Story
