Afghanistan is to ban private Pakistani vehicles from crossing into its territory over a key southern border for “security reasons,” an official said. “The decision has been taken by the Afghan interior ministry to check growing incidents of violence in the bordering areas,” Abdul Razzaq Panjsheri, the commander of the Afghan border force, told reporters in Spin Boldak district in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province on Wednesday.
