One U.S. soldier was killed and four others were wounded by a sophisticated roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad, the military said Saturday. The soldiers were conducting a combat security patrol when they were hit by an explosively-formed projectile — or EFP — on Friday, the military said in a statement. The U.S. has blamed Iran for supplying Shiite militias in Iraq with the powerful weapons, which hurl a molten, fist-sized copper slug capable of piercing armored vehicles. Full Story
