Fighting has broken out again Friday, in the Somali capital of Mogadishu between Islamic insurgents and Ethiopian troops allied with the interim Somali government. Friday’s fighting comes a day after Ethiopian forces launched a major offensive against insurgent forces in northern Mogadishu. The offensive sparked a bloody clash that left at least 30 people dead, many of them civilians caught in the crossfire. At least 100 others were wounded. Full Story
