A disgruntled guest killed himself and seven others and injured 23 when he accidentally set off a grenade at a birthday party in the western Philippines, police said on Saturday. Regional police superintendent Napoleon Cachuela said the guest had been barred from the celebration in Rizal town on the island of Palawan on Friday night after becoming unruly while carrying a gun and he later returned with a grenade.
