A passenger train derailed Thursday in northern Japan after slamming into a truck at a railroad crossing, leaving dozens of people injured, officials said. The 12-ton truck and the train collided in the town of Bihoro and the train went off the tracks but did not overturn, JR Hokkaido, the company that operates the train, said in a statement. Full Story
