Seven bomb attacks by Algerian Islamist militants earlier this month prove the country’s rebel movement is getting weaker, not stronger, the interior minister said in an interview published on Tuesday. “These attacks show the weakness of those who are still in mountains,” Arabic-language newspaper El Khabar quoted Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni as saying. “Using bombs is the best proof of their weakness.” Full Story
