Bomb explodes near Iranian embassy in Baghdad

A minibus packed with explosives blew up on a street in front of the Iranian embassy in Baghdad on Sunday amid rising tensions over Tehran’s relations with its war-torn neighbour. Elsewhere in the city a car bomb wounded five shoppers in the Karrada district, defence and medical officials said, while suspected insurgents murdered at least four people in the north of Iraq.
