A Muslim activist who hit the headlines last year by interrupting a speech by Home Secretary John Reid has been arrested on suspicion of encouraging terrorism, police said. Abu Izzadeen, 31, was detained in east London at 9:30 am (0930 GMT) under section one of the Terrorism Act 2006, for allegedly encouraging terrorism and has been taken for questioning, Scotland Yard said.
