At least three people were killed and 15 injured in two explosions and a shootout in India’s insurgency-hit northeastern state of Assam, police said. The first blast took place in a busy commercial area in Tinsukia district, 540 kilometres (335 miles) east of Guwahati, Assam’s main city.
