Las Vegas is once again on a list of US cities at high-risk for a terror attack. This distinction may seem like bad news, but there is some good that can come from it. It makes the Valley eligible for funding from the Department of Homeland Security. Las Vegas was almost kicked off the list last year because of flawed data. It is not yet known how much money the city is up for, or if it will get any at all. The funds would pay for first responders. The money would also support state and local resources needed to prevent, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism or other disasters. Full Story
