Ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra yesterday slammed the government for publicly holding previously powerful politicians to blame for the bombings over the New Year holidays in what was seen as a desperate attempt to distance himself from the events. The tirade, accusing the government of jumping to conclusions and causing further rifts in society, came in a hand-written letter faxed from Beijing that his legal adviser Noppadol Pattama released to the press.
