As the home of Britain’s three tallest buildings and international banks such as HSBC, the Canary Wharf commercial district in London is likely to feature high on any would-be terrorist’s list of targets. But like businesses, stadiums and railway stations worldwide, it has enlisted the latest technology to protect itself, creating a boom among manufacturers more accustomed to supplying airports.
