Security analysts today cautioned against over-blowing concerns related to an advisory from the U.S. Computer Emergency Response Team (US-CERT) warning of possible cyberattacks against U.S financial institutions by the al-Qaeda terrorist group. According to a Reuters news story quoting anonymous sources, the advisory was prompted by concerns that a group calling itself ANIHAR al-Dollar planned to launch denial-of-service attacks against online stock trading and banking sites all through December.
