Protesters in the southern Mexico’s Oaxaca City have surrendered control of a university radio station, ending a six-month protest that turned violent and deadly. Members of Oaxaca People’s Assembly turned control of the radio station back to university officials on Wednesday. They had used the station to coordinate street protests during the unrest.
