Taiwan’s parliament is set to vote on a third recall motion aimed at ousting beleaguered President Chen Shui-bian over a string of corruption scandals implicating himself and his family. The 218-member parliament is to cast ballots on the motion early Friday, the third such vote in six months. If passed, a national referendum will be held in three months to determine Chen’s future.
