More than two tonnes of explosives have been uncovered in Egypt’s northern Sinai peninsula, a security source has told AFP. “Around two and a quarter tonnes (5,040 pounds) of TNT explosives were found in the Gebel Maghara area,” in northern Sinai, the source said Tuesday. “The explosives were the same type used in previous Sinai bombings,” the source added.
