Public support for Thailand’s post-coup government has slipped but a majority of people nationwide still supported the military-backed administration, a poll has shown. Some 55 percent of people surveyed in Bangkok and 17 other provinces across the country in November supported army-installed Premier Surayud Chulanont’s government, the poll by ABAC Assumption University in Bangkok found.
