At least four people were killed in shooting between rival political camps and four others died in other violence, fuelling tension ahead of Democratic Republic of Congo’s weekend presidential vote, observers said. The shooting occurred in Gbadolite, in the northwest of the country, where supporters of the presidential challenger Jean-Pierre Bemba clashed with guards of Nzanga Mobutu, a supporter of the incumbent President Joseph Kabila.
