Prime Minister Tony Blair has called for UN Security Council action over North Korea’s nuclear test, saying “there will be a response,” his official spokesman said. Blair said Monday the act breached Pyongyang’s commitments under the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and UN Security Council Resolution 1695, imposed after it test-fired seven missiles into the Sea of Japan (East Sea) in July.
