Investigators believe the killers of Central Bank First Deputy Chairman Andrei Kozlov may have been ex-convicts or petty criminals hired on the cheap who had no idea their target was a senior government official, Kommersant reported Monday. A source close to the investigation, meanwhile, told Interfax on Monday that the first murder suspects would be identified only after executives from banks closed by Kozlov were questioned this week.
