Splinter rebel group says killed Nepal legislator
The leader of a splinter faction of Nepal’s Maoist rebels said on Sunday his group had shot and killed a member of the Himalayan nation’s parliament. Three gunmen on motorcycles shot Krishna Charan Shrestha on Saturday in Belaha village, about 150 km (93 miles) east of the capital, Kathmandu. Jay Krishna Goit, leader of leader of breakaway faction Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha told reporters that his men had killed the legislator. Full Story
