Would-be U.S. al Qaeda helper gets 5-year sentence
A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty in U.S. federal court on Thursday and accepted a five-year sentence for attempting to help al Qaeda. Ronald Allen Grecula, 70, of Bangor, Pennsylvania, entered a plea bargain after being charged with trying to build and sell an explosive device to an undercover agent he believed belonged to a U.S.-designated terrorism group.
