Bush to name Darfur envoy

US President George W. Bush, here to defend his Middle East strategy at the United Nations, has decided to name a special envoy to end violence in Sudan’s bloodied Darfur region, aides said. The White House would not officially confirm the decision, but one senior US official, who requested anonymity, said that former US Agency for International Development (USAID) head Andrew Natsios was “a good place to put your money.” Full Story
